Campesino Dominicano Restaurant: Your Gateway to Authentic Dominican Cuisine in the Bronx

In my opinion it was a good place to eat it, many people were complaining about how long it took but i think it’s not the peoples fault, there weren’t maybe employees since today was a holiday. Even with the lack of employees we still got our food pretty fast.

I found a Dominican restaurant near campus that served good food! I was on my break from campus, and I needed to try this place out. I got stew chicken with rice. Very delicious. The lady who served me was very polite and nice. Also, the restaurant looked very organized and colorful. I heard that Mofongo is really good. I would go back for more and try that out next time.

Decided to take my mom && sister to this location and we definitely enjoyed it. The service was amazing. The waiter was super attentive and nice. The food was incredible. The price is decent nothing too expensive. This restaurant won't disappoint. Go and try the food

Authentic Dominican food. Delicious, a lot a flavor, good portions and very affordable prices. We got "La tabla campesina" and "mofongo de camarones en salsa blanca". We wanted to order " la tabla" for two people, but we were advised to order for one person. It was a big portion that we end up losing up our belts and it was some food left. Everything was well cooked. I'm rating 4 stars for atmosphere just because space, it's tight. We loved the attentions and the service Highly recommended !

If you live in the Bronx or are just visiting, you want to stop by Campesino Dominicano Restaurant. Since I visited during COVID, as soon as we walked in, they take our temperature and offered hand sanitizer. The restaurant was calm, nice music, great ambiance and most importantly, it was clean. Our food was DELICIOUS! It was our first time and it most definitely will not be our last. We ordered Chicken Croquettes to start. For the main dish... White Rice with Black Beans and Fried Pork Chops and my husband ordered Yuca Fries and Bistec with Onions. The food was hot, tasty and came out fast. Our server was Leida and she was the sweetest! Leida fue un amor... Todo estaba rico!, rico, rico!!! Gracias

Inexpensive food. A spot to have a traditional dominican dish. They offer a very large variety of the dominican cuisine.

First time here, the natural juices are amazing (pictured; chinola and lemon) The food was good (pictured; pechuga de pollo al ajillo and mofongo de pollo). The wait time was long! The food arrived like it sat at the window for a bit before reaching the table had to eat quick before it got colder.

This restaurant gave me “Ajo y Oregano” vibes. The decoration, the dishes and cups where the food is served resemble to the country side of DR. The mofongos were delicious. I was not expecting the cheese sauce to be that good. Will definitely go back for another one.
